Kohomada Lanka
Have you ever had an egg hopper?
It’s a bowl-shaped pancake with a runny egg in the middle. Crispy edges. Soft center. Add a bit of lunu miris and you’ll understand Sri Lanka faster than any travel guide can explain it.
Or kottu — chopped flatbread, curry, vegetables, maybe chicken — smashed together on a hot griddle until the whole street can hear it.
That’s Sri Lanka. Not the brochure version. The real one.
Kohomada Lanka was created to show you the Sri Lanka we actually live in — the roadside tea stops, the aunties who insist you eat more, the early-morning safaris in Yala National Park and Minneriya National Park, the train rides through the hills to Ella, the most beautiful beaches near Weligama, where the water is warmer than the air.
We’re not a package tour company. We don’t believe in fixed itineraries printed months in advance.
Every trip we plan is built around you — what you’re curious about, how fast you like to travel, what kind of food you want to try, whether you want five-star hotels or a family-run guesthouse where breakfast is cooked by someone’s grandmother.
We work with local drivers, guides, and hosts because this isn’t a destination to us. It’s home.
Travel Sri Lanka with locals — not just through it.
EVERY TOUR IS DIFFERENT AND SPECIAL
